If you already fell in love with Xcaret and Xel Ha, you definitely have to visit the new attraction also part of Xcaret Experiences group. Xenses Eco Park offers a more romantic approach for couples. With a little bit more of craziness but with the same level of relaxation than the other Eco parks. You can find crazy activities that will challenge your sight and perspective. The visit is totally worth it and is even better if you come with a partner. 100% family friendly but with a romantic vibe. There are over 8 different and unique areas, restaurant, souvenir shop and lobby area. We highly recommend a during the week 9:00am visit to avoid crowds. You can purchase your tickets in advance at their main website.

Cenote Lovers

For the couples that have had enough with the beach vibe, cenotes are a great option. We are not talking about the regular public and crowded cenotes. There are private wild cenotes far from the touristic places. Offering more privacy and other activities like Temazcal. Cenote Ixtlan is the perfect option for an afternoon romantic date. Going through the jungle riding a UTV vehicle. Visiting a wild cenote, snorkeling in the most amazing water and taking a Mayan Temazcal session before dinner. Cenote Ixtlan is based inside a meditation center right in the middle of the jungle. The place is surrounded by tall trees and is far from town. A quiet place that can be as private as you want to make that special night perfect for you and your partner. Send us an e-mail to: [email protected] to request a quote for you!

Another great idea is to join the local activities and events created especially for Valentine´s Day. Bicineta Playa del Carmen is created a fantastic evening tour with museum visit and bike ride that you cannot miss. The inscription is only $50.00 pesos per person and if you don´t have a bike you can rent it with a helmet for additional $100.00 pesos. Visit their site to sign up for the event and secure your spot. You don´t have to have a partner to participate, singles are also welcome and there is a great chance to make some new local friends.

For a more romantic evening, a Camping night listening to Mayan stories around a bonfire will be organized. The camping will be at Xelva Cenote and you can be part of it for $300.00 pesos per person (sleeping bag or camping not included).  The price includes snacks and fruits for breakfast next day. The last day to sign up for the event is February 12th, so we recommend you to do it as soon as possible to secure your spot.
