You will enter the village first then carry onto the entrance of Punta Laguna Monkey Reserve where you can book you tour to see the famous Howler and Spider Monkeys. A second tour option starts with a traditional cleansing ceremony with a shaman who speaks to you about the sacredness of the area while performing the ritual. After the ceremony, you will venture into the jungle to see the monkeys. From there, you will refresh yourself in the nearby cenote and then jet down the zip line which takes you from the edge of the jungle across part of the lagoon. You will return by canoe to the entrance of the reserve. This option costs $350 pesos per person and the guide is included.
Another tour option is at night where you will see crocodiles that inhabit the lagoon. This tour costs $400 pesos for the guide and $100 pesos per person for this canoe ride around to see these creatures in their natural home.
